About us

Where are you based?

Viva Peru is an online-only shop operating from Manchester, England.

Do you have a shop?

Unfortunately no, not yet. However, we’re always looking for stockists who’d like to sell our products. If you’ve got a shop and would like to know more about how we supply to trade customers, please e-mail us at info@vivaperu.co.uk.

Why is your phone number a London number?

We’re a small business and can’t always make it to the phone – so we’ve set up an answering service to help us out when we need it! Don’t worry though, we’ll get back to you as soon as we can with an answer to your query.

Bulk and trade orders

Do you supply to trade?

Of course! We’re delighted to talk about your needs and offer discounts of up to 25% to trade customers depending on the size of your order. A selection of our popular products are available with bulk discounts on the site in our Wholesale section, click here to see them.

We don’t currently have all our products set up for wholesale on our site, so please contact us if you’re interested in placing a bulk order of anything else (over a dozen of any one product).

Delivery

How long does delivery take?

Delivery typically takes between 3-5 working days to anywhere in the mainland UK.

My delivery hasn’t arrived yet. What do I do?

If your delivery hasn’t arrived yet, and it’s been over 5 working days, please contact us – we’re happy to look into it for you!

Who do you use for your deliveries?

Deliveries over 1kg are sent with MyHermes, a national delivery company that deliver parcels for a wide-variety of big brands such as Next, QVC and Debenhams.

Deliveries under 1kg, and all our international deliveries, are sent via Royal Mail.

Occasionally we may need to send our parcels via a different delivery service other than the one specified. If this is the case, we’ll let you know.

Can I track my delivery?

Deliveries made with MyHermes can be tracked. We’ll send you a tracking number shortly after it’s been dispatched so you can check your order’s progress.

Delivery with Royal Mail is via the standard post, so we can’t provide a tracking service. However, you’ll  receive an automatic e-mail to let you know when we’ve sent your order, and we also keep proof of postage should you have any queries.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is calculated based on the weight of your order, and whether you’re in the mainland UK or overseas.

When do I have to order for Christmas delivery?

We can’t guarantee an exact delivery time, as it depends on our delivery companies (myHermes and Royal Mail).

We recommend that if you would like to receive your order in time for Christmas, that you should place your order on or before Monday December 16th. We will despatch orders the following day and based on typical delivery times they will be with you prior to Christmas.

Do you offer next day delivery?

At the moment, we don’t currently offer next day delivery. Our quickest service on small parcels is generally our first class service on packages of 2kg and under, which is despatched the day after it is ordered. Royal Mail 1st Class often arrives the following day, but this is not a guaranteed service. You can find out more about Royal Mail 1st class on their website.

We also offer Parcelforce 24 service on orders up to 30kg for £14.95. This service means that your order will be DESPATCHED the next working day, and Parcelforce guarantee that it will ARRIVE the following working day – this is therefore not a ‘next day’ service from the point of order.

Ordering

Can I pay by card?

Of course. We accept debit card, credit card and Paypal.

To pay with a credit or debit card, select ‘Pay by debit/credit card or Paypal’ on the checkout page.

On the following page, under the ‘login to Paypal’ option, you will need to click on ‘Pay with a debit or credit card’, which is below the ‘login’ button as shown below.

Products

Can I suggest products for you to get in stock?

Of course! We’d love to hear from you. Several of the products we already stock have come from visitor recommendations. Just fill in our contact form and let us know what you’d like – we’ll try our best to track it down for you.

Do you sell pisco or other alcoholic drinks?

Unfortunately we don’t sell pisco or other alcoholic drinks, as we don’t have a licence to sell alcohol.

However, we can still help – you can find pisco online here.
